NW MTL Participant Entitlement

Whilst undertaking the MTL you have a minimum entitlement agreed by the North West MTL Consortium.

Participation:

1. One hour of your school-based coach’s time per fortnight
2. A named tutor from the HEI who will communicate with you via email or telephone
3. A written learning contract for each module agreed by you, (the participant), your coach and your HEI tutor
4. One interaction with a named HEI tutor per module
5. Access to one-to-one session/workshop per module for which learning and study materials will also be available on –line
6. Access to additional on-line resources to support your learning on each module
7. Membership of a learning set

Assessment:

1. A submission date for each module which is the same across the NW consortium
2. For Module One only, developmental feedback from an HEI tutor whilst you are writing the assignment
3. The right to an extension or deferral in accordance with each HEI’s assessment regulations
4. Receipt of summative (final) assessment with a provisional grade (pass/fail) and feedback within four working weeks of handing-in written assignments in accordance with each HEI’s regulations

The University that you are registered with will meet this entitlement within the context of their specific regulations. The teaching and learning pattern and modes of delivery may vary between Universities.
